1 ¼ cup butter (6.3 ounces)

¼ cup sugar (1 ounce)

3½ cups wheat flour (8 ounces)

1 egg yolk

Mix all ingredients to a smooth dough. Fill the cookie press and use a star. Make about 3½ inches pieces to rings and bake on buttered plate in medium hot oven (200 degrees C/392 F 8 – 12 minutes).

The exact instructions from the box of the Cookie Press, made in Sweden, in the1960’s. For the user there is also a NOTICE! Keep the Cookie Press in a dry place. Don’t put the screw in water. A few drops of tableoil on the screw prevent rust and wear.
